Paul is the Founder and CEO of Acin. An ambitious entrepreneur and leader, he saw an opportunity to leverage technology to digitise and network operational risk across organisations.
Paul has over 25 years of operational and financial services experience. Prior to Acin, Paul founded Anchura and grew it to be a highly successful consulting business, exiting in 2018. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer of the Ultra High Net Worth business at Barclays Wealth, and COO to the CEO in EMEA at Credit Suisse. Paul started his corporate career at Accenture and prior to that he was an Army Officer in the Royal Engineers.
Phil leads day to day operations at Acin. He is tasked with scaling the global platform, human capital strategy and growth of the company.
Phil has more than 25 years of financial markets and operational experience. He has held various senior COO and business management roles within Global Markets, Sales and Sales Trading and Equity Research businesses at Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and NatWest Markets. Phil has a strong track record of leading workforce strategy and transformation programmes and has significant experience operating at Board and Executive Committee level.
Graeme leads Acin’s core technology and IT architecture. He has transformed risk management into a quantitative discipline powered by technology, artificial intelligence and data science.
Graeme has worked in financial services technology and innovation for over 20 years, with a variety of roles across process automation, platform architecture, product development and portfolio modelling. He joins from Schroders Investment Management, where he was Head of Enterprise Data Architecture and Process Automation.
Craig joins from iboss, the global cloud security provider, where he led the build-out of Europe and Asia operations, spearheading talent onboarding and the development of new commercial channels to accelerate the scaling of the business.
Craig has a career in SaaS sales spanning nearly 20 years, with significant executive experience and strong expertise in designing go-to-market strategies for global technology players. Prior to iboss, Craig held roles including: UK Managing Director at Sitecore, a customer experience software business; Vice President UK & Ireland at MuleSoft, the Silicon Valley-founded software integration company acquired by Salesforce for $6.5 billion in 2018; and various senior roles at VMware, a Cloud and virtualisation services provider.
Sparsha leads the development, shaping and delivery of the business growth strategy for Acin in line with its vision.
Sparsha has over 10 years experience in defining product and corporate strategy. She has prior experience in Accenture (Strategy and M&A), Experian, Darwin Investment Fund and Maxim Integrated Products, in both UK and US. Her previous experience has included defining corporate strategy and developing M&A strategies in EMEA markets for Experian, and owning strategic plans for leading banks and insurance firms as a consultant. She has a strong track record of strategic business planning and translating them to business plans and strategic roadmaps. She holds an MS in Engineering from USC, California and an MBA from Saïd Business School, Oxford.
James leads Acin's product team. He sets the Acin product vision and strategy, and determines how this is translated into an award winning product for our customers.
James has over 13 years experience delivering complex technology products and programmes within both the B2C and B2B industry sectors. James was recently a Director of a Fintech business in the retail investment sector and prior to this spent 10 years as a Management Consultant at Deloitte.
Ian is renowned for his expertise in leading product, marketing, client and commercial strategy for major financial organisations. He has the ability to anticipate and navigate shifting client needs and goals.
Ian is Head of Commercial Relationship Development at Acin and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. He has more than 30 years experience working in top tier banks and asset management companies leading product, marketing and client strategy, including: Coutts, Bank of America, Barclays and HSBC. He has extensive experience operating at Board and Executive Committee level serving on Remuneration, Budget and Audit committees.
Paul is the Head of Asset Management and is responsible for building out this new sector for Acin.
Paul joined Acin after 21 years in the asset management industry as a Managing Director and the Senior Business Manager for the Investment Solutions business at UBS AM, where he was responsible for the smooth running of all non-investment activity, projects and change. Prior to that he held roles as Chief Administrative Officer for Global Investment Solutions and Head of Logistics for the Equities business. Paul says "... for the last 10 years of my time in asset management - I wish we'd had Acin".
Josh leads Acin’s Marketing. Through Acin’s integrated marketing, he helps organisations understand how digitising and networking Operational Risk delivers the assurance they can have confidence in.
Josh brings nearly 19 years in Tech Marketing experience. He recently led Marketing for Opensignal, a Mobile Analytics SaaS provider. Previously Josh led Marketing, Partners, Sales Development, Industry Solutions and Sales Operations for CloudSense, a Commerce and Subscriber Management SaaS platform. Josh started his career in Communications, in Marketing and Product roles.
Peter has driven the development of the Acin product, delivery and customer success across significant financial services institutions.
Peter has 30 years experience of building, restructuring and leading financial services businesses with strong skills in product development, strategic planning, capital management, capital allocation and investment decisioning. He has held positions as Group Head of Capital & Financial Planning at Credit Suisse, CEO of Asian Equities at ABN Amro, RBS and CIMB, and has more recently built a successful property fund from scratch. Peter is a member of ICAEW and a Chartered Accountant.
Oliver will continue to ensure customers maximise value from Acin’s products and services.
With 17 years experience in SaaS, Oliver led various customer facing teams for SAP Litmos. Prior to this, he spent more than a decade building and leading Customer Success and Support teams globally for Clicktools, acquired by CallidusCloud in 2014.
Simon Ball is a Senior Advisor to Acin. A Chartered Accountant, whose executive career included roles on the boards of 3i Group plc (CFO), Robert Fleming Group (CFO) and Kleinwort Benson Ltd (CFO & COO), in addition to serving with HMG Department of Constitutional Affairs (as Director General Finance). Simon is now a non-executive director of Morgan Stanley International, AIB Mortgage Bank, Commonwealth Games England and The Organising Committee for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, where he chairs the Board Audit and Risk Assurance Committee.
Cris has been actively involved with early stage companies for many years. Named by Institutional Investor as one of the top 40 Fintech investors globally, he currently serves as Senior Advisor to Accel Partners and nyca Partners. Cris is a senior member of the Partnership for NYC’s FinTech Innovation Lab and an Executive in Residence with Accenture at the London FinTech Innovation Lab and has an investment portfolio of 30 companies. Previously, Cris spent 24 years at SunGard, over ten years as President and CEO and is a recognised leader in the field of risk management.
Advisor Sally is the former Chief Internal Auditor for Barclays. Sally joined Barclays in September 2012 from RBS where she was Head of Operational Risk, Global Banking and Markets. At RBS, Sally held audit roles in Wealth and Corporate Markets and headed up Audit Strategy, Operations and Development. Prior to RBS, Sally spent 18 years at JP MorganChase as Audit Partner and Co-Head of Investment Banking Audit for EMEA. Sally has a track record of success in developing and executing strategy, driving operational excellence and audit delivery. Sally is also a Non-Executive Director at Metro Bank.
John is a business leader with over 30 years experience in financial services, focused on solution provision within capital markets trading and risk management. During his time at SunGard, he drove the transition from traditional in-house applications to SaaS offering. John is a trusted partner that "does what he says he will do". He has experience of business improvement and has led turnaround situations. As an executive sponsor, he builds trust and confidence with C-level executives to achieve better outcomes.
Renaud Huck is a Senior Advisor to Acin, he has a Masters in Economic Sciences and Foreign Languages from the Sorbonne University in Paris. Renaud has over 30 years’ business development, trading and sales/marketing experience in capital markets + financial services.
Renaud was an investment banker and trader in the fixed income and equity derivatives area working for major international investment banks ( Wertheim Schroeder, JP Morgan, Credit Mutuel-CIC and Natexis Capital / Banque Populaire ) in the US, Europe and Asia. Additionally, Renaud held senior executive positions in business development for two of the world’s largest exchange groups ( CME Group and Deutsche Borse AG ). Currently Renaud is a Non Executive Director, Treasurer of Board, Member of the Audit & Risk and Remuneration Committees of Outlook Care, an Essex-based healthcare provider.
