Paul is the Founder and CEO of Acin. An ambitious entrepreneur and leader, he saw an opportunity to leverage technology to digitise and network operational risk across organisations.
Paul has over 25 years of operational and financial services experience. Prior to Acin, Paul founded Anchura and grew it to be a highly successful consulting business, exiting in 2018. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer of the Ultra High Net Worth business at Barclays Wealth, and COO to the CEO in EMEA at Credit Suisse. Paul started his corporate career at Accenture and prior to that he was an Army Officer in the Royal Engineers.
Graeme leads Acin’s core technology and IT architecture. He has transformed risk management into a quantitative discipline powered by technology, artificial intelligence and data science.
Graeme has worked in financial services technology and innovation for over 20 years, with a variety of roles across process automation, platform architecture, product development and portfolio modelling. He joins from Schroders Investment Management, where he was Head of Enterprise Data Architecture and Process Automation.
Craig joins from iboss, the global cloud security provider, where he led the build-out of Europe and Asia operations, spearheading talent onboarding and the development of new commercial channels to accelerate the scaling of the business.
Craig has a career in SaaS sales spanning nearly 20 years, with significant executive experience and strong expertise in designing go-to-market strategies for global technology players. Prior to iboss, Craig held roles including: UK Managing Director at Sitecore, a customer experience software business; Vice President UK & Ireland at MuleSoft, the Silicon Valley-founded software integration company acquired by Salesforce for $6.5 billion in 2018; and various senior roles at VMware, a Cloud and virtualisation services provider.
Rash leads on customer success and account management, and has delivered significant customer acquisition and growth momentum for Acin.
Rash has over 20 years financial services experience. Previously, Rash has held several Managing Director positions within RBS including Head of Strategy Implementation and Global Equities COO. Rash has also formerly held positions at Credit Suisse and Accenture.
Phil leads day to day operations at Acin. He is tasked with scaling the global platform, human capital strategy and growth of the company.
Phil has more than 25 years of financial markets and operational experience. He has held various senior COO and business management roles within Global Markets, Sales and Sales Trading and Equity Research businesses at Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and NatWest Markets. Phil has a strong track record of leading workforce strategy and transformation programmes and has significant experience operating at Board and Executive Committee level.
James leads Acin's product team. He sets the Acin product vision and strategy, and determines how this is translated into an award winning product for our customers.
James has over 13 years experience delivering complex technology products and programmes within both the B2C and B2B industry sectors. James was recently a Director of a Fintech business in the retail investment sector and prior to this spent 10 years as a Management Consultant at Deloitte.
Ian is renowned for his expertise in leading product, marketing, client and commercial strategy for major financial organisations. He has the ability to anticipate and navigate shifting client needs and goals.
Ian is CMO at Acin and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. He has more than 30 years experience working in top tier banks and asset management companies leading product, marketing and client strategy, including: Coutts, Bank of America, Barclays and HSBC. He has extensive experience operating at Board and Executive Committee level serving on Remuneration, Budget and Audit committees.
Ed Riddell brings 16 years’ experience, with a strong track record of leading and growing businesses across a broad range of industries.
He joins Acin from Vollebak, a high-growth men’s clothing brand, having helped the business expand its customer base across Europe. He has also held positions as Finance Director for Bonhill Group, an AIM-listed publishing and events business, and at high-growth payments start-up Corporate Pay, heading up the finance team to lead the business to profitability and an eventual exit to global financial technology leader WEX Inc. Ed did his professional training at Ernst & Young, spending five years in the audit and assurance team.
Rupal Patel is one of Acin’s Data & Insight Directors, specialising in Electronic Trading across Financial Services.
She has extensive experience at Tier 1 Banks, with expertise in Front Office, Finance and Operational Risk and has successfully tackled topics ranging from Supervision to regulatory questions on the design and creation of risk frameworks. Rupal is passionate about NFRM and has the experience, understanding and sensitivity to leverage Acin to solve client challenges across all functions. Rupal is also leading the Acin Network’s “Women In Control” initiative aimed at developing further female leaders in the NFRM industry.
Paul is the Head of Industry Data and Insight and is responsible for how Acin organise and develop data and transform it into value for clients in their respective industries.
Paul joined Acin after 21 years in the asset management industry as a Managing Director and the Senior Business Manager for the Investment Solutions business at UBS AM, where he was responsible for the smooth running of all non-investment activity, projects and change. Prior to that he held roles as Chief Administrative Officer for GIS and Head of Logistics for the Equities business.
Peter has driven the development of the Acin product, delivery and customer success across significant financial services institutions.
Peter has 30 years experience of building, restructuring and leading financial services businesses with strong skills in product development, strategic planning, capital management, capital allocation and investment decisioning. He has held positions as Group Head of Capital & Financial Planning at Credit Suisse, CEO of Asian Equities at ABN Amro, RBS and CIMB, and has more recently built a successful property fund from scratch. Peter is a member of ICAEW and a Chartered Accountant.
Abbie is a Senior Leader of Customer Success with significant experience leading the optimisation and expansion of CS operations and teams. Specifically focused on Customer Journey, Growth & Adoption and Customer Product Experience.
Rocky is the lead UI Developer in Technology. He is an integral part of the team, and has seen the Terminal develop from inception.
Rocky has over 15 years experience in various sectors, including defence and public institutions. His skillset ranges from JAVA to JavaScript Frameworks as well understanding platform architecture, process automation and DevOps. Rocky also has a 2.1 classification in Computer Science from Coventry University and is a co-founder of Metisx Platform.
Gaspard is Acin’s Head of Risk Insights and is playing a leading role in the industry transformation to a network data-driven approach for NFRM.
He has extensive NFRM experience acquired across all lines of defence in Investment Banking and Risk Consulting with expertise in Front Office, Market Risk and Operational Risk. He has a particularly strong track record in risk management for trading businesses ranging from control platform optimisation and regulatory remediation, through to successfully managing day-to-day risk and control environments. This has provided Gaspard considerable insight and knowledge of NFRM data therefore enabling him to play a key role in how Acin solve industry challenges through network data-driven insights. He has previously held the position of Head of Market Risk Controls & EMEA Head of Market Risk Regulatory liaison at Barclays. He is a thought-leader on the transformation of Operational Risk and lectures on this topic. He also contributes to leading publications and news outlets.
Abi has over six years of design experience across multiple sectors; from finance and petroleum to telecom, entertainment and retail.
She has been responsible for the interfaces of multiple global products, predominantlyin the B2B space. Abi graduated from Loughborough University in 2014 with a 2:1 in Visual Communication
Kieran is the Data Science lead at Acin, applying Statistics and Machine Learning to drive process automation and draw useful data insights, whilst championing a culture of data-driven decision making.
Having completed his Masters in Mathematics, Kieran is currently completing a PhD in Statistics at King's College London where he is a tutor and researching elements of medical statistics. He has a variety of research interests including Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Signal Processing/Time Series Analysis and Experimental Design.
John comes from a digital marketing background and is particularly passionate about interface design.
Empathetic and extroverted, he loves working closely with designers and user experience architects, helping them to deliver meaningful user journeys though carefully considered, friendly interfaces. Having spent the last decade developing digital products for brands like Burberry, BP and Sky, John is thrilled to be part of the growing Acin family, determined to take the Terminal to the next level.
Keyur joined Acin as Data & Insight Director after over 20 years of banking experience.
Prior to Acin, Keyur was head of Fund Derivatives Trading at RBS, having spent the earlier part of his career in finance and risk and controls. Keyur is also a chartered accountant
Andy has over 15 years experience building applications for the web.
He has worked on a multitude of projects from design agencies, to small start-ups, to defence giants.
His focus is on building scalable applications that follow best practices and deliver to the highest of standards.
Andrew has worked in the Tech industry his entire career in a variety of industry verticals.
He started out providing Technical Support before discovering the discipline of Product Management. Andrew has experience working with start ups and large enterprises. Andrew is customer-centric and outcome focused and takes pride in building products that deliver value for users.
Douglas is working on the development and launch of Acin's Asset Management product.
Douglas has 36 years’ experience of working in financial services, predominately in the asset and wealth management sectors. Specialising in operations, IT, change and risk management. He was chief technology and operations officer of Old Mutual Asset Managers and divisional chief operating officer of Coutts Investments. Prior to joining Acin he was part of the senior management team at Brewin Dolphin.
Sparsha leads the development, shaping and delivery of the business growth strategy for Acin in line with its vision.
Sparsha has over 10 years experience in defining product and corporate strategy. She has prior experience in Accenture (Strategy and M&A), Experian, Darwin Investment Fund and Maxim Integrated Products, in both UK and US. Her previous experience has included defining corporate strategy and developing M&A strategies in EMEA markets for Experian, and owning strategic plans for leading banks and insurance firms as a consultant. She has a strong track record of strategic business planning and translating them to business plans and strategic roadmaps. She holds an MS in Engineering from USC, California and an MBA from Saïd Business School, Oxford.
Naomi joined Acin in October 2020, having previously worked with the team as a summer intern in 2017.
Naomi works alongside Helen, providing operational support services across the business. After completing her Biomedical Sciences Undergraduate degree in 2019, she worked as a Research Associate at Biotechnology company, Syngenta.
Tallulah joined the team in October 2020, having formerly completed her industrial placement year at Acin.
Tallulah works alongside Ian, delivering marketing support. After graduating from the University of Bath with a Social Policy degree, she worked as an Account Executive at a digital advertising agency.
Helen joined the team in 2015 and ensures the successful continuance of business operations.
Helen provides support services across the business and is responsible for the premises, operational systems, procurement and compliance. Helen previously worked in telecommunications and online gaming in sales & services functions.
Kieran works within the data team at Acin. He first began working with data whilst studying Physics at the University of Warwick. After a year in recruitment and before joining Acin, Kieran started his career in data with the consultancy company Kubrick Group.
Gaspard is the lead risk & control SME at Acin with 13 years’ experience spanning the 3 Lines of Defence in IB from FO Controls, to Market Risk (MR) Controls and Internal Audit, with a key focus on delivering regulatory change. Gaspard is passionate about enabling organisations to optimise their control frameworks, reduce controls proliferation and enable agile, data-driven risk management. He has held positions as Head of MR Controls & EMEA Head of MR Regulatory liaison at Barclays.
Mani is leading the evolution of the Acin platform. He has over 25 years’ experience in building global businesses within the assessments, benchmarking, information services, research & outsourcing sector. He has built global businesses from the ground up to $100m revenue, led M&A and managed complex programmes to integrate acquired businesses. Previously he was CEO of Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services and President of Global Research & Analytics at CRISIL (a Standard & Poor’s company).
Kerrie is the Chief Financial Officer. After studying Economics at Nottingham University Kerrie trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, qualifying in 2002. Kerrie has experience across multiple sectors including FTSE companies and acted as Finance Director of an independent nightclub chain.
Rash is Head of Account Management at Acin and has over 20 years’ financial services experience. Rash leads on client acquisition, client solutions and client management and has delivered significant growth momentum for Acin. Previously Rash has held several Managing Director positions within RBS including Head of Strategy Implementation and Global Equities COO. Rash has also formerly held positions at Credit Suisse and Accenture.
Joined Acin from UBS where he held the position of Algorithmic Trading Execution and Market Structure Lead responsible for product management, strategic platform enhancements and risk framework oversight across the Investor Client Solution Business.
Mich began career trading derivatives for JP Morgan and also has past experience in technology platform development and enterprise risk management.
Simon Ball is a Senior Advisor to Acin. A Chartered Accountant, whose executive career included roles on the boards of 3i Group plc (CFO), Robert Fleming Group (CFO) and Kleinwort Benson Ltd (CFO & COO), in addition to serving with HMG Department of Constitutional Affairs (as Director General Finance). Simon is now a non-executive director of Morgan Stanley International, AIB Mortgage Bank, Commonwealth Games England and The Organising Committee for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, where he chairs the Board Audit and Risk Assurance Committee.
Cris has been actively involved with early stage companies for many years. Named by Institutional Investor as one of the top 40 Fintech investors globally, he currently serves as Senior Advisor to Accel Partners and nyca Partners. Cris is a senior member of the Partnership for NYC’s FinTech Innovation Lab and an Executive in Residence with Accenture at the London FinTech Innovation Lab and has an investment portfolio of 30 companies. Previously, Cris spent 24 years at SunGard, over ten years as President and CEO and is a recognised leader in the field of risk management.
Advisor Sally is the former Chief Internal Auditor for Barclays. Sally joined Barclays in September 2012 from RBS where she was Head of Operational Risk, Global Banking and Markets. At RBS, Sally held audit roles in Wealth and Corporate Markets and headed up Audit Strategy, Operations and Development. Prior to RBS, Sally spent 18 years at JP MorganChase as Audit Partner and Co-Head of Investment Banking Audit for EMEA. Sally has a track record of success in developing and executing strategy, driving operational excellence and audit delivery. Sally is also a Non-Executive Director at Metro Bank.
John is a business leader with over 30 years experience in financial services, focused on solution provision within capital markets trading and risk management. During his time at SunGard, he drove the transition from traditional in-house applications to SaaS offering. John is a trusted partner that "does what he says he will do". He has experience of business improvement and has led turnaround situations. As an executive sponsor, he builds trust and confidence with C-level executives to achieve better outcomes.
Renaud Huck is a Senior Advisor to Acin, he has a Masters in Economic Sciences and Foreign Languages from the Sorbonne University in Paris. Renaud has over 30 years’ business development, trading and sales/marketing experience in capital markets + financial services.
Renaud was an investment banker and trader in the fixed income and equity derivatives area working for major international investment banks ( Wertheim Schroeder, JP Morgan, Credit Mutuel-CIC and Natexis Capital / Banque Populaire ) in the US, Europe and Asia. Additionally, Renaud held senior executive positions in business development for two of the world’s largest exchange groups ( CME Group and Deutsche Borse AG ). Currently Renaud is a Non Executive Director, Treasurer of Board, Member of the Audit & Risk and Remuneration Committees of Outlook Care, an Essex-based healthcare provider.
